Blogger's Challenge #49: Animals!
No, this has nothing to do with today being the last day of school! Although, my classroom has felt like a zoo this week! The last week of school is always crazy with the deadlines, finishing report cards, last meetings and such. I'm looking forward to a restful summer!
Zoo was my animal inspiration and I guess I'll dedicate it to my first and second grade class! They're not animals but a little wild at times! I used the Zoofari set and the stamp a majig to place these animals in the windows of the new Fresh Cuts notes set! I handwrote the sentiment since there isn't a stamp with this phrase. Thanks for looking!

Blogger's Challenge #47: Layout challenge!
Welcome to the Blogger's Challenge this week. Our challenge was to be inspired by the layout on page 21 of the Occasions Mini (have I mentioned that they have extended this catty until June 30th? It's an awesome one to have a little longer!!!) Anywho...This is my take. I made mine a Father's Day card for my dad. I used Kraft cardstock (a favorite of mine!) Very Vanilla, Bashful Blue and Blue Bayou. I used the paper piercer and Mat kit to put the holes in and handstitched using the Linen Thread. The stamp sets are Lovely as a Tree and Short and Sweet.
***NOTE: All Stampin' Up! materials were used to make this card and no materials were harmed in the making of this card!

Blogger's Challenge #46: Mother's Day!
I am so glad that I had a back-up for the Blogger's Challenge this week. I made my cards on Sunday and filmed them. Then, sent them off to my mom, Steve's mom and Steve's grandma. Well, the last card was meant to be my challenge and here's the blurry cruddy picture:
I LIKED THE CARD BUT I'M EMBARASSED TO POST IT!
BUT...I have a back-up!! Here's the card I made for both my mom and Steve's mom. I like things fair so they got the very same design:
Here's another contribution. I forgot that I had made this one about a month ago and sent it in to SU for a contest entry.
Thanks for looking at my cards! Blessings to you and go and check out what the other Blogger's Challenge gals came up with...I know that I will!

Blogger's Challenge #45: Graduation
I am not afraid to share my age with you...I graduated from high school in 1989. I gave the salutatorian speech (don't be too impressed...I graduated with 23 in my class!!!) and thought we had the world in the palm of our hands. Life didn't turn out the exact way I thought but I am way happier this way! I surely didn't think at that time that the girl who almost failed art (yep, that's me! I got an F on the final project, though!) would be sharing art with you like this!!!
I knew graduations would be coming way too fast, so I began a few grad cards early! No special technique on this one but I think it's a great for a male grad!
Here's the recipe:
Stamp sets: Stamp of Authenticity, Great Grads
Cardstock/Ink Colors: Kraft, Very Vanilla, Really Rust, Chocolate Chip
Other: Aged Copper Hodgepodge Hardware, Stampin' Dimensionals
Thanks for looking!
