Color Inspiration #12

I know that you bright ones out there have realized that I missed 11...I was out of town last weekend celebrating with my MIL and FIL and their 50th wedding anniversary. So, I opted to wait until challenge #12 to participate again.

The colors for this challenge were Sahara Sand, So Saffron, Wild Wasabi and Whisper White. I loved them together! Almost Green Bay Packer colors, you know!

Here are the two cards I came up with.

The first uses Big Deal Alphabet and the Dotted Jumbo wheel...a favorite of mine! I used my paper crimper to achieve the texture on the sahara sand chunk. It's hard to see the sponging I also added to that piece. I embossed the word and the dots on the Wild Wasabi piece using Winter White embossing powder.

The second card was inspired by a couple of fellow Bloggers challenge players who used circular stamps to create a background. I used this stamp from the Priceless set. The words are from the One of a Kind set.

Thanks for looking!
