Blogger's Challenge #116: Thinking of You!

Our theme this week was Thinking of You. I made this card by embossing the butterfly and flower images using my versamark pad and white embossing powder. Then, I used the reinker splash technique to add the various colors of blue. With that tech, you spray the entire piece with water and drop small amounts of reinker onto the wet surface. It's unpredictable as you don't know where that water will take the color but what an adventure!

Thanks for looking and be sure to check out what the other members did while Thinking of You!

Card Recipe:
Stamp Sets: For All You Do
Cardstock/Ink Colors: Shimmery White, Night of Navy, Brocade Blue, Bliss Blue
Other: Big Shot, Perfect Details Texturz Plates, Movers and Shakers XL Bigz Die, Curly Label Punch, Whisper White Organza Ribbon, SNAIL adhesive, Stampin' Dimensionals

Lisa,

I'm going to have to teach this next month at my Techniques clubs now. I love how this turned out and think this is one of the most gorgeous cards I've ever seen. I love the randomness in the background.
