I stamped with White Staz-on onto my clear glass ornament. I did pretty good, only smearing in a few places where I thought the next part of the process would disguise, so I continued.
I added Eggplant Envy ink refill to the inside and turned and turned the ornament until all was covered. Then, I sprinkled in some dazzling diamonds glitter. Then, I turned it upside-down to dry. Here's what I woke up to:
Half of it's covered and half looks NOT GOOD!!! But, I will try this again with some changes. I cannot control your comments but you do not have to leave any comments saying it looks good...I know it doesn't and I'm okay with that. I am posting in hopes that you will have suggestions on improving my technique for the next ornament that I do!

Well, in the photo it looks shimmery along with the color - I think it looks beautiful!
Lisa,
I have to say I LOVE IT! I love the color, love the frostiness of it and if you didn't tell me it didn't "work", I wouldn't know it. I truly do like it and will probably try something like this myself since I discovered some clear ornaments in my stash of stuff last night! If you really hate it, send it to me. I'll display it proudly!
Even though you may not be happy with how the reinker dried and left open patches, I still think it looks great! :)
I love these ornaments....the snowflakes on the outside add a great touch! I have had similar issues with mine. You need to swirl some water around in the ornament first so it is totally wet, then empty it. Then add some ink and swirl it around, then when it is mostly dripped out you add the glitter, swirl it around and dump it out, then let dry upside down.
It looks really shimmery in the photo, and you made it in my favorite color!!! I haven't tried those glitter ornaments yet.
We are all so hard on our own projects- I would guess your end result was intentional- to accent with glitter the top portion- and bet that is where the light will shine on your ornament from the tree- I think it turned out really pretty! I love the Eggplant color too- it turned out really pretty
Love the color! Gorgeous! {SMILES}
I've not tried these before so I can't offer suggestions but I really think this looks quite lovely. I like the sort of "two-toned" effect it has.
I think it's pretty! I love Elegant Eggplant for Christmas!
It is beautiful Lisa! I do have a couple tips. Darker colors are much harder to get an even coat. Mix in a complimentary lighter shade with the dark color. I used Not Quite Navy and added Bordering Blue, then a little water, mix first, then pour into the ornament. Stops those streaks!
Looks so shimmery in the photo, Lisa! Love the rich eggplant color, too.
