Blogger's Challenge #126: Giving Thanks!

I didn't make a traditional fall-looking card this week. I was inspired by this card by Debbie Olson. I put my own spin on it for a Thank You card and came up with this:



I began with the Damask image from Friends 24-7 and Very Vanilla Craft Ink. Then, I ran it through my Big Shot and added the Pattern texture. I highlighted the texture with my Elegant Eggplant ink pad. Lots of distressing later plus adding ribbon and my background was complete!

Wonderful interpretation of Debbie's card. It's beautiful.
Here's a crazy thing...I had thought of doing a card based on that very same card by Debbie.
