Blogger's Challenge #153: Color Challenge

Our Blogger's Challenge was to use Red, White and Blue for our card.  I chose Real Red, Pacific Point and Whisper White.  I used a technique that I haven't for a LONG time:  Split Negative.  Dawn Griffith had done one recently on her blog that inspired me!

There are some stray bits from the embossing powder but I decided that I thought it made the stars look like shooting stars and didn't fix it!

Thanks for stopping by.  Please check out the other blogs from the Blogger's Challenge group.  Remember what this weekend is really about!!!

I agree...the stray powder looks like one of those happy accidents! I love the trails it made around your stars :-). The split negative is also cool.

I too like the effect of the "spray" around the stars! Cool! The technique works great with this card and image! Kudos!

I love this technique and am going to have to try it. I didn't realize it was stray powder until you said so -- I really like this just as it is -- looks like exhaust to me!
