I had to use my Lattice embossing folder again this week! I just love that!!! This time I used it on the Travel Journal designer series paper and used a sanding block to rough it up a bit.
The Kraft (soon to be called Crumb Cake) Corduroy button is on the retired accessory list. I loved using this one so much, I almost have used the entire package...a rarity for me! I usually end up hoarding the pieces and using them sparingly. I will not do that anymore!
My layout is loosely based on the butterfly card on the front of the Summer Mini catalog. The sentiment was from the Occasions mini catalog from a set called Well Scripted!
Have a super Friday and be sure to see what the other BC players did for Fathers everywhere!

Oh...love how you used the Impressions Folder with DSP...duh! Why didn't I think of it! Great job and wonderful card!
Wonderful masculine card, the embossing on the DSP looks great as well as the torn edges. Hope things in WI are going well - thinking of you all!
Cool card. Love the distressed look.
Love this layout and your button, as well as your distressing. Very cute card -- manly!
Great card for a guy- perfect colors and the texture is great! Fun idea to use DSP and sand it too. TFS
What a fabulous background you have created! Haven't done that in a long while and you've inspired me to try again! GREAT Dad's Day card!
Love the look of the embossed and sanded designer paper, Lisa!
Really cool Lisa! Sanding the paper after embossing it gives a very cool effect.
I love all the texture with the embossing, sandin, and the torn edge is the perfect detail :-)
Very nice
