Blogger's Challenge #39: Color challenge!

Our challenge this week was a color challenge to use Blue Bayou, Chocolate Chip, Real Red and Soft Sky. I had one card complete and decided to make another and I like that one much better!

The first one is a tall card. I found the layout in CardMaker's Sketchbook. I used my Trimtastic stamp set and my Stamp a Majig to put the rick-rack image on my background in Chocolate Chip ink. Then I used the jumbo wheel Dotted Lines to add more pattern and texure. The Real Red layer is a piece from the Prints Pack DSP from the hostess choices. I used our largest square punch (1 3/8 inch) to make a layered "diamond" with Chocolate Chip and Soft Sky cardstock. On the squares, I used the i and u from Jumbo Outline Alphabet and the heart from Sweet Shapes and filled those in with my blender pen.

The second card was even more fun for me! I began by adding the Polka Dot background stamp to the Soft Sky background. Since my Sweet Shapes set was still on the table, I used the dotted image to add a background on the chocolate chip layer. I added Real Red 5/8" Grosgrain ribbon and used my Great Grad set to finish it off!

Thanks for looking and many blessings to you on this Good Friday and Happy Easter!!!
