Merry Christmas in July! Our challenge this week was to have Christmas in July. I have to say that the summer is flying by fast enough without having to think about Christmas! It's also fun to make a Christmas card when it's 80 degree outside, though!!! You can never do that in Crookston in December!!!
I saw a great tutorial on Dawn Griffith's blog on how to make these snowbursts. (Now that I know, ask me and I'll teach you!) I wasn't trying but then I ended up casing her layout as well! It's funny how an idea gets in your head like that!
The main color is Rich Razzleberry...great color for Christmas cards! I also used Shimmery White cardstock to make my snowburst hoping to get a little more shimmer. In person, you can see it! The image is from one of the new Level one hostess sets...have a workshop, card class or a book party with me and you can earn that set for FREE!!!
Be sure to see what the other BC members came up with for our Christmas challenge! Happy Friday!
