Our challenge this week was anything Halloween! I combined the Monday Technostamper challenge as I had this card done on Sunday but it wasn't just right. So it sat on my desk all week until I added the sentiment with the double layer of the Modern Label Punch. I'm running late this morning, so I'll let my card explain itself. MJ's sketch also follows! Check out the other challenge players!!!

Blogger's Challenge # 122: NO LAYERS!
This is always so HARD for me! When I first began stamping, I never added layers. Now that I have for years, it's hard to go back to that! I need some dimension!
I began by taking the new Ornament punch and making my own stencil with it. Then, I sponged the ornaments with Ruby Red and Old Olive ink onto the Kraft cardstock. I used my Paper-Piercing tool (now available without the kit for only $3.50!!!) and made tiny holes to hold my Silver Elastic Cord (my dimension!) I stamped the sentiment from Heard From the Heart but it wasn't quite complete. I used the Corner Rounder punch to round each corner and then sponged away all around the edge to frame the card.
Please take some time to see what the other players in this challenge were up to! You will not be disappointed!!!

Blogger's Challenge #121: Alter it!
This may be the fastest and cheapest project ever posted on the internet!
I saved this Crystal Light container this summer and just knew it would come in handy during an alter it challenge. When looking at it today and thinking about the upcoming holidays, an idea was born. This one:
I took a piece of the flocked Christmas Cocoa specialty Designer Series paper and wrapped it around the container. Then, I spent about 5-10 minutes on my Digital Studio and designed my Curly Label tag. I cut it out and attached it with the Whisper White Satin ribbon. I cut a slot in the lid and now I've got a way to put some coins aside for Christmas splurging!

Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge #92
I made this card for our God-daughter who is celebrating her birthday today! Happy Birthday, SB!
I don't know why my copy of the sketch is so small but it is...maybe if you go to MJ's site, you'll see a regular size sketch!
I've been trying to keep my blog posts shorter. If you want more details on any card, please contact me and I'd be glad to help you out!
Have a GREAT day!

Blogger's Challenge #120: Sketch Challenge
I liked this sketch that our list mom Lisa gave us:
I was mostly inspired by my new stamp set Extreme Elements and started with the background. I wanted something kind of funky to go with it, so I added the Taken with Teal piece after running it through my crimper a bunch and then added the ribbon and shredded the ends! I also wanted to use the Sweet Cups from the Holiday mini catalog. Fun with glitter, isn't it?
I'm off to school! Be sure to see what the other players did and PLEASE...play along with us!!!

Blogger's Challenge #119: LOVE!!!
Well, anyone who knows me, knows how much I LOVE my dear husband, Steve. We didn't meet until I was 29 and after a short time of dating (less than a month) we were engaged! Our anniversary isn't until November but for once, I'll be prepared and have my card done!
I was inspired by a card from the latest Stampin' Success, a magazine printed by Stampin' Up! for SU demonstrators. The triple panel layout idea came from a blog (sorry...I can't recall which one!) The idea was to use the new Platinum shimmer paint! Want to learn how to do this? I'll show you at a workshop or a class!!! Call or email me to book one right away!
Have a wonderful Saturday!
